Senator Bernie Sanders' wonderful ideas on "State of the Union," today"

There's two important things the Senator recommends:

1.  Supply hope to Palestinian youth of Gaza and the West Bank for jobs, their own state; "a place in the sun" (to use a near-forgotten cliche in another war)!  There, they stand around; picking up stones and letting them fall to earth.  They are languishing in rubble, wasting their time.

2.  The Arab League should entertain a request on behalf of remaking the Gaza Strip to contribute to helping the humanitarian situation--above all, for supplies of disparately needed food fuel water; and to relieve the hostage condition that's been allowed to continue because of Hamas' pride in their surprise raid into Israel on October 7.  They have had their symbol of being held prisoners by Israel for years, in land, sea and air.  Israel must take responsibility for attempting to pound the Palestinians into submission, under Israeli control.  Outrageous.

Anyway, it seems that President Biden's effort to contain the war between Hamas and Israel has taken hold.  Iran may be heeding.

My opinion.
