It looks as if Spain is integral as Catalan independence is only an internal state of self-governance.

If there is to be yet another referendum for Catalan independence, the will of all voters in Spain shall comprise the determinant ballots cast. 

And so, it looks like Catalan in Spain will have similar status as Quebec in Canada has.  And Spain's Constitutional guarantee of territorial integrity is reaffirmed.
