HE envisions a stance taken by Turkey in the Middle Ages and is preparing his people to share his rekindled role in a "New Turkey," despite all the reverberations in Turkish economy that has sent prices soaring. (see pp. 75 ff of November 5th issue)
Amazing doggedness, he is showing Turkey's especial role in international affairs. I hope he is not giving up in the Muslims of the Middle East--Syria and Palestine, where his vision of Turkey's place could take root, I believe. Look at poor Lebanon needing guidance and inspiration sorely that Turkey could render through trade!
My opinion.
