Muslim Religion has to keep up with the times: keeping to its old ways ok in Middle Ages not ok now.

Jihadism and caliphates--the world has moved beyond these.  But so has the role of women in modern culture.  Religion is not culture; and culture is not religion.

Before Khamenei there was the struggle within the Muslim world for the place of women--yes, in Iran, too.  And, the cultural battle continues.  It ought not to be costing human lives through battle.
