If the government does not yield to EU pressure, there won't be any energy renewables for Spanish inhabitants that want disparately to stay there. Climate change will make their land unusable!
News agencies have attempted to alert them their regional plight. And the planet is unforgiving. According to the Economist April 29 issue (p. 41), while a big solar and wind project is underway, probably homes and companies must be moved elsewhere to make way for energy production apparatus in ideal placement. They see the advent of solar as costing jobs and uprooting their lifestyle. They are not willing to sacrifice even a little for the greater good of Europe's energy supply. How dare they be so selfish as to threaten Europe with poverty so they can continue until they are forced to live elsewhere, as the final edict from Nature itself.
You Spaniards will then no longer exist as a nation! Move; or else cease to exist as a people because of little rain and little energy sources to support you on your land without addressing climate change!
