The Team of China and Russia at China's Wenchang.

The Economist. April 27th issue, p. 34, contains an invite to establish a branch of its Moscow Power Engineering Institute at China's tropical spaceport.

Premier Xi envisions Wenchang as a center for a confluence of ideas--Chinese and Russian--that will lead to a "reform of the global governance system": intended, I surmise, to legitimatize their vying with the United States for leadership among the multitude of nations in the world.

Or, is China interested in capturing the knowledge of the Russian space program to be adapted to Chinese interests in outer space, looking to establish its very colony on another planet?

My wonderings.
