The Trump's Administration may have developed a model for negotiations with foreign countries in dealing with the Japanese!

 Japan will invest in building infrastructure here in the States as well as going along with a tariff of Japanese items from Japan of some figure agreed upon.

Deals over tariffs are ongoing with other nations presently.  One such with the Philippines, recently, I understand. 

The EU is in negotiations, presently, too, .
