In addition to Turkey as lead country, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan are members of the clan. Most of these are landlocked in Central Asia and some are doing very well as independents. The organization they belong to is called the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
