Despite Russian drone attacks to hinder the shipment of Ukrainian grains of the 2023 harvest year, most got through.

The Black Sea Deal of 2022 with Russia over, Ukraine nevertheless was able to ship through the Danube River and finally through the Black Sea once again, but also by rail and road, to get most of its harvested grains to countries, which were counting on these products.

Whereas sales could have been a disaster for 2023, by Ukrainian ingenuity, most shipments were successful, I understand.  President Zelensky has come through for his people!

My room has an inoperative heating unit!

Just happened.

Will notify the management tomorrow.

12/30 11 AM

They fixed the heater in less than 1 hr. after they received my call.

Thanks, you guys!

The Western World stopped the genocide of the Jews; now genocide is being committed against the Palestinians of Gaza.

I can't believe the Christian world is not getting involved to stop the apparent genocide occurring in Gaza.

Mexico's doing very well; it's time to develop Central America.

There are a few new presidents in Central America--especially promising is the Guatemalan incoming President.

While migrants keep coming to the environs of the US, they could benefit from any new infrastructure that could be constructed in the Central American countries with US venture capitalist monies.  Once there is an abundance of workers in these countries, I believe investors will consider putting their money in making industrial meccas down there.

The real need is to develop programs to educate the thousands streaming toward the US now.

Tapachula, Mexico could be a mecca for developing Central America, possibly as far south as Panama--through Ms. Katherine Tai's office.

Central America is, importantly, situated to service supply chain ships and rail throughout the Americas.

My thoughts about the future of Central America to participate in trade and commerce connections near the US.

My health aide is doing just fine.

I want to make sure she stays in good standing, so as to continue to be a help to me.

But she may need help to withstand any criticism of her.

I've been in this business a long time!  Kinney, the nurse, is a friend.

Cordially

Biden's proposal to scale down the devastation seems reasonable; else to continue the War may prompt serious escalation!

How to convince the Israelis, the time for peaceful negotiations is now.

Vengeance will mean involving more nations in the region, it appears with proxies, etc. becoming part of the expansion.

I hope Israel will accept the two-state solution, that we hear Prime Minister will not; and that leaves only 22% of the historic Palestine as a Palestinian State.

The Arab League will participate in the committee overseeing the PLO: My understanding.

I have come away with the understanding that the formation of the administrative arm of the PLO  encompasses input of the Arab League, headed by the Saudis.

What I have gathered from talking with their people.

FYI

My opinion.

Migrants to the US make wonderful students to be trained in business, industry and government. Don't send them away...

FOR THE SAKE OF WORLD PEACE AND PROSPERITY!

They're here now, in hordes; and we have the educational institutions awaiting them!

P.S. The immigrants bring new ideas and methods, too.

Defense rests....

This is a great day for the United States Constitution: Colorado Supreme Court stands by the Fourteenth Amendment.

I understand many courts have not stood for the Fourteenth Amendment.  At least the language of the Fourteenth Amendment makes sense to me--a well-founded logical extension of its appearance as an Amendment to taking an Oath to the Constitution.

My opinion.  Good job, Colorado State Supreme Court!

"Independence" stuck for the former Russian satellites!

But I could see from my knowledge of the Russian attempts at Empire building that there was needed a safety valve whereby Russian intransigents, living in satellites could express Russian nostalgia.  That has broken out in Georgia and elsewhere at various times since the demise of the USSR.  So what?  Russians simply are expressing fond memories for what was and is no more, despite Putin's dreams of reviving the past--a favorite past time of Russian sympathizers for the good old days.

Anyway, now is the time to rebuild Ukraine, particularly modernizing Odessa, its major port city.  If a cease-fire could be arranged through NATO, that would be great, but the thing now is to rebuild the country as winter proceeds.

I agree with the MSNBC analysts, particularly, Haas: Zelensky has done marvelously; but Russia's aspirations do not disappear overnight.  And Putin is now in his Seventh Heaven: he's been loyal to his oligarch supporters.  A great future lies ahead for Central Asia, composed of independent states, maybe still with minor vestiges of Russians in pockets of the now free lands.

Carry on...Central Asia is doing well--after all you've been through!

Incidentally, I've always enjoyed, through the years since 1989,  following the adventures of these newly struggling independent states emerging to be each, their own viable country.

Who's supporting and encouraging Israeli troops to go on a killing spree?

I know the Biden Administration is protesting.  But is the Congress behind him; do they stand by our President in the face of Mr. Netanyahu's assurances of their just war--to be continued?

I am glad the Military is talking to the Israelis right now!

My opinion and hope someone can control Israeli retributive justice.

The Dubai Summit of Climate Change was headed by the oiler group of atmospheric polluters...

who seemed to be extolling the project of hauling the residue carbon from burning coal, etc. into bottomless pits where they will do no harm to the air nor to mankind.

The Chinese are pursuing the energy sources in natural wind and solar energy to limit carbon ever in the air, recognizing that today just a mite of the carbon is now stored from ethanol fermentation or as carbon dioxide in the ground, managed by forestry.

Both the United States and France are in nuclear energy usage--some 90 plants in the States.

Representatives of various companies were there to highlight advantages to one or the other method to supply electricity, critical for modern technological conveniences.

As long as Israeli troops are allowed to roam the Gaza Strip, disease appears to be overtaking the land.

It now appears only a peace force of the United Nations can drive the Israeli troops from the quest that is wreaking catastrophe to the people still alive among the ruins.

Might a United Nations police-force standing for the humanitarian cause take charge of the land in the name of saving lives?

Where are our religious leaders?

My opinion.

Ukraine's President Zelensky anticipating formal talks with EU toward entry into membership relation!

Hooray!  Since the 1990s, I'm aware there's been talk of a free and independent Ukraine's entry into the EU; and maybe this is the time.  President Zelensky is readying himself to speak in Brussels in the near future, I would think.

The point is, this long-awaited event of Ukraine's becoming part of the EU must be greeted with warm enthusiasm throughout Ukraine--it's been long in anticipation--perhaps, now!

Hang in there, President Zelensky; you're almost in "good hands!"

My opinion.

Under President Biden, the US economy is looking at a prosperous future.

I think nobody really understands "Bidenomics," yet the citizenry are coming to appreciate it means prosperity for all Americans in the immediate future.

I think the public knows what it means when the stock market jumps up to new levels.

Thank you, President Biden, for your team, especially for Ms. Yellen.

The Dubai Summit should have corralled all the oil and carbon people so they don't anymore rely on their government's subsidies and gifts!

Let's face it.  The oil magnates are all dependent on their government to support them.  They'd be already where they're about to go--searching for an industry to fashion as lucrative as the one they got now.

How about using new knowledge to produce hydrogen energy--the upcoming field in the next centuries that is in need of your oil background and expertise.  The Saudis are making the transition; and the others should follow suit.

My group has been assigned development of business in Central America.

I'm well into this project, despite the flack I get from Mexico.

The new President of Guatemala will be useful, and please make sure he's installed!  There's plenty of territorial envy arising.

Thanks, but what a great staff.  Vegas is pushing worldwide.

I'm hoping I've got back my health aide, who may turn out to be something more than that.

I'm well familiar with the immigration situation at the Southern Border, USA.

The situation is complicated.  An "Immigrant" status is like "foreign student" status in some ways.  They come here "by hook or by crook" and immediately, they start to learn American ways and know-how.  Above all, they are acquiring skills they likely would not have available to learn wherever they are coming from.

Now, investors of the West, including venture capitalists, are not likely to invest their monies to establish businesses that work with companies in advanced nations if the labor market of some foreign country they are thinking to invest in are not trained--not trained in computer usage, for example.  You say, the governments of these countries should educate their kids and young adults even mid-life laborers in modern technologies.  But in some countries, there's little emphasis on gaining book and trade knowledge; and so individuals educated on home soil are unable to benefit from their personal educative experience in their years of schooling to contemporary technologies.

However, there's a huge population in the world that are willing to "pick up and leave" for a time (unspecified length) and journey all the way to the United States.  To turn them away, is to reject them, in some profound sense, from the technological revolution, which has occurred only in the last 1 and a half Centuries-not a long time for the world to catch up.

But business and the move of time--right-into-the-future--can't wait.  These laborers need to learn the skills of modern business and industry so that they can be of use in business and industry now.  But investors are reluctant to put up the cash to provide enterprises, even governmental businesses, in order to take advantage of worker eagerness to participate that pay a living wage.

That's why advanced nations, the United States, have made it possible for the Chinese, coming here as students, and immigrants, including at the southern border of the country, to stay here and learn, and possibly, stay on to work for years to come.  Those that become trained and want to go elsewhere, do so.  Those immigrants, who, having been trained in technology, etc. may earn the privilege to live here.

Importantly, immigration status in the United States or foreign student status enables the individual so designated to learn modern techniques and become part of the new, revolution in knowledge and living the West offers through its educative systems.

My cursory explanation.

"And a female--wife; relative--shall lead children and spouse (and / or: all other adult males in their clan) to CHURCH/SYNAGOGUE/MOSQUE."

Today, women are more in attendance at religious meetings.  At least, so it would seem, because the male counterparts don't seem enthusiastic to attend on their own.  They have to be led...even as most men are led to the altar for marriage!

The men, and their progenies, are most likely to prefer watching a football game than to participate in prayer and meditation in a religious house of worship.

But they will listen to their womenfolk!--usually.

My opinion..

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has made an excellent pick.

I've watched the former Prime Minister David Cameron's appearances on US national TV this week--now he's in the Sunak administration; and I am impressed!

I perceive what may be a significant help to the team of democracy defenders Sunak brings, namely, in his wise selection of professionals to join.
